My landlord's parents light this every winter when they sit in the yard... It' pretty cool. I was pulling into the driveway this evening when I noticed it just sitting there... I thought it looked cool, so there it is. :-)

Ok, so these pictures in my opinion are 'ok'... I was trying to veer away from color this time... I'm not sure why though; I think it was just my mood. I'm not exactly crazy about the way the pics came out, but I think they'll do... I'm going to the circus tomorrow. I 'cannot' wait... YAY!!!!!!!!!

Another rainy day in Rhode Island...

It's been dreary and rainy all week. I am getting so sick of this weather... Anyway, for lack of anything better to do, I went downstairs and got some pictures of some wet leaves... It's been raining all morning, so being that there're no other pictures to take, I figured I'd make do with what I was given... they're regular pictures. I've always had a fascination with the look of 'freshly rained on leaves'... theres just something so 'crisp' about the way they look. I couldn't take a lot because it was still drizzling a little, and I just wanted to go in so I could get dry.

I took this picture quite a while back. The oddest thing about this is that he actually has blue eyes. I think it was the lighting that day that made his eyes seem this color, but this was the 'actual' color of his eyes that day. Pretty cool... (I thought).

I was on my way to pick my son up last week when I noticed that the roadway right before his school had these trees that looked really nice. I thought they looked so nice that I actually went home, grabbed my camera and returned to the place... I messed with the pictures a litttle bit in Photoshop and Picasa, and these are the three that I liked the best....
